This is Vi Hart. She calls herself a “recreational mathemusician”, but that really doesn’t begin to describe her. She makes wonderful, quirky videos that illustrate mathematical concepts: Wind & Mr Ug (a Möbius strip story) is probably my favourite, but there are many others.
She shapes her food intohexaflexagons and fractals, andballoons into hyperboloids. She makes Möbius music boxes, and when things get dull, she makes instruments of paper and sets them on fire as they are played.
